Holiday Traffic Builders – Bring On The Visitors For Christmas
Everybody wants their fair share of Christmas traffic, but what if your business isn’t exactly Christmas Oriented? What can you do to bring in the traffic? Perhaps you have a business that is business only, tax related, or otherwise not Christmas oriented, there are STILL a few things you can do to bring in Christmas business.
Gift Certificates -
Offer gift certificates for services you perform during other times of the year, present them in a special Christmas Wrap or Gift Card and suck up those Christmas bucks from the logical person who doesn’t like to buy “just another trinket” for holiday gift giving.
Pre-Christmas Package -
Perhaps you can offer a package deal, if your client buys your services for a friend next year, they get half off their own PRE-Paid Services? Wrap a certificate up in Christmas paper and give with a bonus, send Poinsettias or chocolates with their gift.
Toasty Warm Ups -
Whether it’s a coffee mug with a great logo reminder of your services or a nicely done pen with a marketing motto, getting your name in front of your customers in a free warm up gift keeps them thinking about you all year long. What about a hoodie or sweatshirt, perhaps a warm winter hat or beanie? Gifts that keep your customers warm are sure to be remembered later in the year when they require your services.
Christmas Contests -
Bring them in for a contest, decorators delight in offering winner’s pools for the winning entry on a photo essay or other dramatic and newsworthy event. Posh it up in the newspaper with a bonus Press Release and tell all about it!
Break out the E-gifts -
Give away a list of great e-gifts and let your people see what you have to offer the rest of the year. I’m betting they’ll come back to see what else you have to offer. Share your talents and give something away.
