As the year 2009 approaches the half way mark investors continue their foreclosure search in full throttle. Popular foreclosure sites on the internet reveal certain regions to be attracting heavy traffic as the number of foreclosure properties for sale increases and prices continue to drop significantly.

Los Angeles County seems to be attracting the heaviest traffic of hungry investors from all over the country. This region particularly has a great number of pre-foreclosure deals along with bank owned foreclosure properties being sold in the market.

Another region where investors are aggressively looking for good buys is Orange County. Here you will be able to find plenty of resale deals along with great pre-foreclosure properties. Maricopa County also has decent deals to offer to investors. Buckeye in particular has the highest number of foreclosure homes in the region. Wittnam and Tonopah also have a large number of foreclosure homes being auctioned.

Also on the foreclosure search is Broward County. Here you will be able to find plenty of auction deals with no minimum amount set meaning an excellent investment opportunity. The region is also rich with heavily discounted Pre-foreclosure deals. If auctions are what you are looking for then Miami-Dade County has plenty of houses going up for sale through auctions. This is one of the regions that have experienced massive reduction in pricing.

The above mentioned regions are the places that are most popularly being searched by investors. This however does not mean they have the highest number of foreclosures to offer nor is it indicative that these are the regions that will get you the highest percentage of savings. There may be other factors that are attracting people to these regions. Location could be one and future expected real estate trends is another. These areas are likely to recover sooner than later and that will cause a massive escalation in the value and worth of the property. Hence now when the tide is incredibly low, it is a great time to do a foreclosure search and get a good deal for these areas.
